This notice explains how SystemRise handles personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or book a call. It also explains your choices and how to contact us about your information.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
SystemRise is an AI automation and client acquisition business led by Daniel Ige, based in Nigeria. For enquiries and bookings made through this website, SystemRise is responsible for deciding how your information is used.
For privacy questions or requests, email support@thesystemrise.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, business website if provided, main business challenge, and anything else you include in an enquiry or correspondence.
- Booking information: the meeting time you select, time zone, contact details, and answers you provide when scheduling or changing a call.
- Technical information: our hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, and security logs when delivering or protecting the website and connected services.
Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
3. Why we use information and our legal grounds
- Responding to enquiries, preparing proposals, and arranging calls: to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or for our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries where that ground is available.
- Providing agreed services and managing client relationships: to perform our contract and maintain necessary business records.
- Security and administration: for legitimate interests in preventing abuse, resolving issues, and operating our business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal and regulatory obligations: where processing is required by applicable law.
- Optional marketing: with consent where required, or another lawful ground only where applicable law permits it. Submitting an enquiry is not, by itself, a subscription to unrelated marketing.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
4. Providers and other recipients
We share information only as needed for the purposes described here, including with providers that deliver website hosting, communications, form handling, and scheduling. The current website uses:
- Formspree: receives and processes information submitted through the enquiry form and helps deliver it to us. See Formspree’s privacy policy.
- Calendly: provides the booking interface and processes the information you enter to arrange a meeting. Its scripts may also receive technical information when loaded. See Calendly’s privacy notice.
- Google Fonts: supplies website fonts through requests made by your browser to Google’s servers.
- Hosting and email providers: support delivery, security, and correspondence. Netlify hosts this website. See Netlify’s privacy policy for its practices.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, investigate abuse, or respond to a lawful request.
5. Cookies and similar technology
This website version does not include a SystemRise-installed analytics tag or advertising pixel. Connected third-party services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technology under their own notices. You can manage stored cookies through your browser settings, although blocking some technology may affect booking functionality.
If we introduce optional analytics or advertising tracking, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required before activating that technology.
6. International processing
Some providers process information in the United States or other countries outside Nigeria or your country of residence. Data protection rules may differ between countries. Where applicable law requires it, transfers must be supported by an appropriate transfer mechanism or other permitted basis. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your request.
7. How long information is kept
We keep information only for as long as necessary for its purpose. The relevant criteria include whether an enquiry remains active, whether you become a client, the duration of the client relationship, applicable recordkeeping obligations, and whether information is needed to establish or resolve a legal claim. When no longer needed, information should be deleted or anonymised. A limited record of a marketing objection may be retained to ensure your preference is respected.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe information provided to us has been compromised.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or information about its use. You may also object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to the relevant data protection authority. These rights can be subject to lawful exceptions.
Send requests to support@thesystemrise.com. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law. In Nigeria, you may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. You do not need to contact us before raising a complaint with a regulator.
10. AI, client projects, and other people’s information
The website enquiry form and booking process are not used by SystemRise to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Our advertised AI services do not mean that every website enquiry is automatically sent to an AI model.
Where we process a client’s customer or prospect information on the client’s instructions, the applicable service agreement and data processing arrangements govern that work. The client’s privacy notice normally explains that processing to its customers. Provider access, outreach permissions, and safeguards must be agreed for each project.
11. Children and external links
Our services are directed to business customers and are not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can assess and address it. External websites, including social media profiles, have their own privacy practices.
12. Updates to this notice
We may update this notice as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
